Host coaching & performance reviews

Edited

Consider using PracticeVital as the underpinning of all coaching and performance evaluations. This will allow you to build more data-driven evidence into your conversations, and neutralize what can sometimes be an emotional conversation. You might:

  • Download and email your clinician’s key metrics out weekly or monthly in order to help clinicians become more comfortable and familiar with the metrics, and avoid surprises at a future performance review.

  • Regularly compare cancelation rate, churn rate and retention rate for a clinician to assess their overall effectiveness of treatment and clinical performance.

  • Monitor a single clinician’s utilization over time to offer a more data-informed perspective on their goal in your next performance check-in.

  • Invest in training and development for those clinicians that may be struggling on certain metrics, such as client retention or churn.

  • Identify and congratulate the team members who are consistently excelling across metrics. Invite them to coach others within your team to follow similar strategies.
